Since I was 18, I've been invested in helping others achieve wellness. I worked in a group home with individuals struggling with schizophrenia, was a crisis counselor assisting those affected by Hurricane Ike, counseled women living in a shelter, and advised and counseled college students struggling with life transitions and unpleasant emotions. Not only am I interested in supporting people improve mental and emotional wellness, but I've also been practicing and teaching in the field of massage therapy since 1998. I have a deep understanding and appreciation for the mind and body connection and how they influence one another.
